Preschool Program
Ages 3-5
Our Preschool Program is a fun, creative and engaging introduction to the world of dance! Experience a variety of classes and dance forms while developing a greater sense of rhythm, coordination and artistic expression. Students age 3 and above are invited to participate in our annual productions of The Nutcracker, Spring Gala, and Summer Gala.
Elementary Program
Grades K-2
Our Elementary Program begins the educational journey of aspiring dancers and is the first step to unlock each student’s artistic potential. Each level is one year in length and provides an exceptional ballet education while creating opportunities to develop a well-rounded dancer through performance opportunities and interdisciplinary classes. All students in the Elementary Program are invited to participate in our annual productions of The Nutcracker, Spring Gala, and Summer Gala.
Academy Program
Grades 3 – College
The Academy Program continues the training of the Elementary Program and includes a structured Classical Ballet Program as well as Interdisciplinary Classes designed to prepare students for professional careers. Training at this level can be individualized to include extra training and performance opportunities through the Academy Workshop, SLC Ballet Company, SLC Ballet Competition Program, private lessons, coaching, and career development opportunities. All students in the Academy Program are invited to participate in our annual productions of The Nutcracker, Spring Gala, and Summer Gala.
Company and Competition
Academy 3 – 5
Students desiring a professional and/or college career in dance will enroll in the Company Program, which includes the participation in our annual productions of The Nutcracker, Spring Gala, and Summer Gala, additional classes and rehearsals, and allows students to experience a more professional setting for training and performance preparation. Members of the Company are also invited to participate in our Competition Program, which includes Competition Program classes, rehearsals, and private coaching, in addition to a variety of opportunities including YAGP.
Adult Program
Ages 14+
Whether you want to learn a new skill, or stay in dancing shape, you are sure to find the perfect fit for your schedule and ability. Performing opportunities are available throughout the year, including our annual productions of The Nutcracker, Spring Gala, and Summer Gala. Come work hard, have fun, and create friendships that will last a lifetime in the low-key, friendly atmosphere at SLC Ballet.
