Updates August 2022: Mask Requirements – Medium Transmission

Salt Lake County has now moved into a medium transmission index. As such, masks strongly encouraged, but not required. As a reminder, our classes are at reduced capacity, allow for social distancing, and we have upgraded ventilation systems to provide the safest environment possible.

In addition, our lobby and lockers are closed. Families and friends of students may not wait in the facility at this time, and students will need to arrive ready for class. Please wear clothing or warm ups over your ballet clothes.

To keep our community safe, several safety measures and procedures will be in place.  All students planning to attend must be able and willing to participate under these conditions. As the situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve, SLC Ballet is committed to remaining flexible and will be able to adjust as the need arises.

Before registering for classes, please be sure you are familiar with our policies and all students and families are able to comply.

General Procedures

1 – Please do not attend if you are sick. If you have symptoms of “allergies” or “colds” please do an at home test to make sure it is not COVID-19

2 – Studios will be sanitized frequently.

3 – Masks are strongly encourage in class, but not required. Should SL County move to high transmission, we will require masks in the facility, but not classes.

2020-2021 Updated Policies

Due to the uncertainty of the current situation, we have updated our financial and registration polices for this year. We hope these new offerings will make things a little easier!

Payment Plans: We have 2 payment plans available. All registration is for the full year, and you may make 1 full payment, 4 equal payments, or 9 equal payments. The first payment is due at registration, the next payment is now deferred to October 1st. In addition, we have waived the 5% financing fee until further notice.

Late Payments: In the past, we have tried to work with families as situations arose. We will continue to work with you as best we are able when you notify us in advance of a change in ability to pay. However, we are no longer able to defer payments beyond 30 days. In March, due to the pandemic, we suspended collections on past due accounts. Beginning in October 2020, late payments will incur a 5% late payment fee monthly until paid in full, and our collection procedures will return.

Refunds: we know these are uncertain times, however, registration is for the full year (or program length) and we cannot offer refunds as we base our staffing on enrollment. Payment plans are not monthly payments, but are a full year’s tuition divided into equal payments.

Wait List: Due to our extremely limited capacity, if your class is full please add yourself to the wait list. We are unable to exceed capacity for any reason, but we will try to open new classes if needed. Our goal is that everyone who desires to dance with us will be able to enroll!

If you have any questions about our policies please email us before registering.

Fall Semester…

Begins August 17, 2020! Registration will open August 1st. Returning students – watch for emails with early registration links!
