Bret Coppa

Guest Artist

Bret had danced under the Artistic Direction of Roberto Almageur for 4 years with Dance Peninsula Ballet Company. He has received training from Vera Ninkovic, Marat Daukayev and Alex Kalinin. He has performed principle and soloist roles in repertoires such as Swan Lake, La Bayadere, Coppelia, Tarantella, La Corsaire Pas De Deux, and an excerpt of Don Quixote. With Central West Ballet he has performed guest roles such as “Who Cares?” (Liza solo), Peasant Pas de Deux in Giselle, Pas de Trois, Neapolitan, and the Role of the Jester in Swan Lake.

Youth America Grand Prix Regionals – 2011, 1st place Pas de Deux, 2013, 3rd Place Soloist and Top-12, Youth America Grand Prix Finals (Soloist) 2012, 13, 14, 15, and 43rd Prix de Lausanne Finalist.

He has attended UNCSA for one year and in that time he has preformed roles such as Caviler in The Nutcracker, Principle male in Donizetti variations, and also Solor in La Bayadere’s Kingdom of the Shades.
